I bought this game with sale coupon, it's worth the money :)+Trading cards. Here is a shmup that does a great deal right and very little wrong. There are player and ship upgrades, many different enemies with unique attacks, three weapons with independent cooldowns, and plenty of difficulty customization options. There's a unique gameplay mechanic where you can flip your ship to shoot the opposite direction, giving more strategic choice about what threats to deal with.The bad points are mostly ignorable. I have no idea what the story is because I can't understand the voice acting and there's no subtitles. There's very little instruction about the interface but that's no big deal once you get used to it, just don't give up on it early. The name of the game is really stupid. That sort of thing. Levels start to feel repetitive after all the enemy types have been introduced but then, it's a shmup. What do you expect? The game is surprisingly long; after 2 hours I'm about halfway through the 50 levels, and there's still plenty of space to go back and play earlier levels with harder options. I'm not going to, but still. Even 25 levels is long for a shooter like this. If the game stopped at 20 then no one would be complaining about repetitive levels.Feel free to ignore the tags like "RPG". This is a shooter in almost its purest form..
